Menu bar app for Mac · Product design jobs, Australia

Product design jobs in Australia, in one place.

Job boards, company career pages and freelance sites each show you a slice. OHMAA gathers the roles into one list in your Mac menu bar, newest first, so you can check once and get on with your day.

Spec sheet

Check one place, not every job site.

Roles from every state and territory, plus remote roles open to people in Australia, sit in one list. A role that appears in more than one place is listed once.

One list

Stop checking every job site.

Open OHMAA and the roles are already there, gathered from job boards, company career pages and freelance sites into a single list.

Newest first

Today’s roles on top.

Roles are sorted by the day they were found, so what turned up this morning is at the top. Roles you have applied to, and closed ones, stay hidden.

Easy to scan

Four roles. One glance.

Each row shows the company logo, the role, the location and whether it is remote, hybrid or onsite. One click opens the rest of the list.

Made for macOS

Looks right in light and dark.

On macOS 26 the panel uses Liquid Glass and follows your appearance setting. With Reduce Transparency on, it switches to a solid background. Earlier macOS versions get the standard frosted look.

Install

Installed in a minute.

  1. Open the disk image

    Double-click OHMAA.dmg after it downloads.

  2. Drag to Applications

Drop OHMAA onto the Applications folder in the window that opens.

  3. Approve it the first time

Open OHMAA from Applications. macOS says it can’t verify the app, because it is not notarized by Apple. Open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway, then confirm. After that it opens normally and the briefcase appears in your menu bar. On macOS 14 or earlier, right-click the app and choose Open instead.

Ready when you are

Check one place, then get back to designing.
